Doctor-led Ayurveda for Women · In practice 23+ years

You hold up everyone else. Who's looking after you?

You know the tiredness that sleep doesn't fix. The cycle that reorganises your whole month. The mood that turns a corner before you've had the chance to. For years the standard answer has been a pill to mute it — and another when the first wears off. Here we do something quietly different: we ask why your body is behaving this way, and we take the time to actually find out. This is a doctor-led Ayurvedic practice for women's hormonal and reproductive health, led by physicians in clinical practice for more than twenty-three years — PCOS and fibroids, fertility, thyroid and metabolism, the whole arc of menopause. Ayurvedic evaluation, read alongside your modern diagnostics. Every visit is a real consultation, and you leave with a plan built around your body and your kitchen, not a printout.

Why Women End Up Here

You've been told your numbers are "normal." You don't feel normal.

Most women who come to us have already done the rounds. A scan here, a hormone panel there, a prescription that helped for a while and then didn't, and a quiet sense of being managed rather than understood. The appointments were short, the explanations shorter, and nobody ever seemed to join the dots between the weight that won't move, the cycle that won't settle, the sleep that won't come and the mood that arrives uninvited. Each was treated as its own little fire. None was traced back to the thing lighting the matches.

Ayurveda begins from the opposite assumption — that these symptoms are related, that they have a cause, and that the cause is usually reachable. Our belief, plainly stated: it is not illness that creates imbalance; illness is itself a symptom of imbalance. So we spend the first visit on the whole picture — your history, your cycle, your digestion and metabolism, your sleep and stress, your family patterns, and the reports you already carry — and only then decide what actually needs treating. It is slower at the start. It is also the reason the results tend to hold.

"It is not illness that creates imbalance — illness is itself a symptom of imbalance."

— The principle every plan here is built on

One Visit, Four Parts

What actually happens when you come in

No à-la-carte menu and no upsell. Every consultation, walk-in or online, includes all four of these — because treating one without the others is exactly how a problem comes back.

Consultation

A proper history — cycle, symptoms, what you've already tried and where it left you — with an Ayurvedic pulse and constitution reading, and a look through your existing reports. The detective work most appointments skip. Nothing is prescribed until the picture makes sense.

Diet — Aahar

Food tuned to your constitution, digestion and the season, built around the kitchen you actually cook in — not a fantasy plan you'll abandon by Wednesday. Re-tuned as your symptoms move.

Herbs — Aushadhi

Classical formulations, used only where they genuinely pull their weight — and cross-checked against everything else you take, so your Ayurveda and your other medicines never work against each other.

Lifestyle — Vihar

A short, specific list — sleep, timing, stress, movement — of the daily and seasonal levers that move hormones more than any single tablet. Realistic enough to keep, revisited every follow-up.

Why Ayurveda, Not Just a Pill

Hormones and pills manage the symptom. They rarely ask why.

A contraceptive pill, HRT, a hormone injection — each works by talking over the signals your body is sending. They are genuinely useful, sometimes exactly right, occasionally the only sensible option. But switch them off and the pattern underneath is usually still sitting there, arms folded: the insulin resistance, the sluggish liver, the family tendency, the decade of skipped meals and one-a.m. bedtimes. The reading changes; the cause does not.

Ayurveda goes after that deeper layer. For PCOS, fibroids, breast lumps, fatty liver, hormonal skin and the long glide of menopause, we treat the root — gentler on the body, and far more likely to hold once treatment stops. For fertility, we treat the whole woman, not just the ovaries — because the goal was never a single positive test, but a body well enough to carry a pregnancy and recover from it. And we do it integratively: your labs, your imaging and your current prescriptions are read into the plan, not ignored by it.

What We Manage

A woman's whole hormonal life, under one roof

Metabolic

PCOS & Fatty Liver

One connected picture of insulin resistance, cycles and weight — treated as one, not four.

Uterine

Fibroids & Endometriosis

Easing bleeding, pressure and pain at the source — and referring for surgery at the right moment, not past it.

Fertility

Fertility — Both Partners

A whole-body approach for her and him, including care after a failed IVF cycle and with low AMH.

Breast Health

Benign Breast Lumps

Managed by BI-RADS category, always beside imaging — with a firm line for when a specialist is needed now.

Menopause & Beyond

Peri- & Post-Menopause

Flushes, sleep, mood and brain fog through the transition; bone, joint and cognitive health in the years after.

Motherhood

Pregnancy to Lactation

Obstetrician-alongside pregnancy support, postpartum recovery of body and mind, and milk-supply help.

How We Practise

The time-tested approach of Ayurveda, on three principles

Classical Ayurveda organises health around three things you can actually change. Every plan we write is some balance of these — never a single bottle standing in for all three.

Aahar

Nutrition

Proper food and eating habits, matched to how your body actually works — the single biggest lever in most hormonal conditions, and the one most plans get generic.

Vihar

Lifestyle

The modifiable daily and seasonal habits — sleep, timing, movement, stress — that quietly support or undermine your health, and that steer hormones more than most people expect.

Aushadhi

Herbs

Classical herbs and preparations to sustain health or gently ease a specific concern — prescribed where they earn their place and checked against your existing treatment.

What to Expect

Your first consultation, step by step

01

A conversation, not an intake form

We take a full history — cycle, symptoms, what you've tried, how you live — long enough to find the pattern under the symptom, with an Ayurvedic pulse and constitution assessment.

02

We read your reports

Bring your labs, scans and current prescriptions. We read them into the plan — modern pathology and pharmacology alongside the Ayurvedic assessment — so nothing is guessed and nothing conflicts.

03

Your plan — diet, herbs, lifestyle

You leave with a personalised plan across all three principles, written for your constitution and your week — and a clear sense of what it's for and how long it should take.

04

Follow-up and adjustment

Your body responds; the plan adapts. We review at each follow-up and refer on without hesitation whenever a specialist opinion is the right call.

Who You'll See

Led by Dr Smriti Singh, with more than two decades in practice

Women's care here is led by Dr Smriti Singh, alongside Dr Ameet Verma — both graduates in Ayurveda from Lucknow University, with a postgraduate certificate in Panchakarma from Mumbai University, and more than twenty-three years treating hormonal, metabolic and reproductive conditions between them. You see the same doctor each visit: someone who has read your file before you sit down, remembers the last conversation, and treats your case as yours rather than the next slot.

Classical practice, kept current: the doctors hold continuing certification from Stanford, Harvard T.H. Chan, Doane University (with AMA PRA Category 1 CME), Minnesota, Edinburgh and Copenhagen in modern nutrition and the management of lifestyle disease — so your care draws on time-honoured wisdom and current global evidence at once.

One Honest Thing

Looking for a quick fix? We're sorry to say it doesn't exist.

Your condition took months, often years, to develop; reversing it takes time and a little patience. If you're honest with yourself and willing to make a few real changes, the results follow — and they stay, because they're built on a corrected pattern rather than a suppressed symptom. That's the trade this practice offers: not the fastest route, the one that holds.

Walk in, or book online — whichever works

No referral, no waiting list, no pressure to commit before you've been heard. To give each person the attention they deserve, consultations are by appointment, and there may be a short wait — worth it for a visit that isn't rushed.
